How do I get selected?
Applicants for all positions must complete a Pre-Screen Questionnaire via NEOGOV. You can view available positions with our agency by selecting OPEN POSITIONS
Pre-screen questionnaires are reviewed to determine if the applicant meets the minimum qualifications for the position and a preliminary background investigation is completed. Applicants selected for further consideration may be contacted for pre-employment testing and/or interviews with Sheriff’s Office personnel. Applicants selected for positions must successfully pass a thorough background investigation which includes, but is not limited to: a review of criminal history, driving records, credit, past employment and personal references, a neighbor survey, and a Computer Voice Stress Analysis (CVSA). All offers of employment are contingent upon passing a pre-employment physical with drug screening.
