Lost, Found & Recovered Property
If you previously lost an item, you can contact the Property and Evidence section, 407-665-6692, to speak with an Evidence Specialist to see if your property was found and turned in. Once ownership is established the Evidence Specialist will set up an appointment for you to pick up your property.
Disposition of Found Property
Pursuant to Section 705.103(2)(b)1, Florida Statutes

If you believe you are the true owner of the listed property, please contact the Sheriff’s Office immediately.
The Sheriff’s Office will donate unclaimed property to charitable organizations, retain the property for use, surrender the property to the finder, or trade the property to another unit of government or state agency.
Persons wishing to lay claim to any of the property posted in the link below may do so by calling and scheduling an appointment at the Sheriff’s Office at (407) 665-6692. Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
If you have an item that was previously stolen and is now in the possession of the Evidence Unit, please contact the investigator assigned to your case. The investigator will establish ownership of the item, and will inform the Evidence Unit when the item is approved to be released. Once the Evidence Unit has received the approval, an appointment can be set to retrieve your items. Please contact the Evidence Unit at 407-665-6692 Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
